Choosing support

What is an online confidence and resilience programme for girls?

A thoughtful confidence and resilience programme gives a girl practical language and tools while keeping parents informed about the process and respecting her private reflections.

Families should be able to see how a programme works before enrolling. They should know who is leading it, how safety is approached, what a typical week includes and where the boundaries sit between education, mentoring and clinical support.

01

Look for a clear age fit

Girls at 11 to 12 and 13 to 14 can experience similar themes differently. An age-matched pathway helps the language, examples and group dynamic feel more relevant.

02

Look for practical learning

Confidence and resilience are easier to practise when a programme gives girls useful tools, reflection prompts, scripts and real-life examples, not just motivational messages.

03

Look for parent partnership and clear boundaries

Parents should understand the rhythm of the programme and how to support learning at home. At the same time, a girl should not be expected to surrender private reflections to demonstrate progress.

A conversation to try

Before enrolling, ask: ‘What would help our family feel clear, safe and supported during this experience?’
